Guess what? It’s that time of year again and we’re getting ready to pack our bags and head to Amsterdam for another round of the biggest event in the broadcast and media industry calendar. IBC 2024 is just around the corner, and we’re buzzing with excitement here at 7fivefive.
Lens 2024 feature updates: cool, new stuff
After our big debut on the AWS stand last year, we’re thrilled to be coming back to showcase Lens once again on AWS’ stand. This time, we’re ready to demo some exciting new feature updates. If you caught us at NAB earlier this year, you already know we’ve been working hard on some cool new features, and we can’t wait to show them off.
So, what’s new with Lens? We’ve been listening to all the feedback, and the 7fivefive team has been busy behind the scenes tweaking and enhancing Lens to make it better than ever. The new updates bring a bunch of awesome new tools, like new pool and session management features, new integrations and a revamped user interface. These updates aren’t just tech fluff, they’re designed to streamline your workflow and enhance user experience.
Hot topics to follow
With so many media and technology companies all under one roof, we can’t wait to join in the conversation about the key developments transforming the broadcast industry right now. We’re looking forward to talking all things cloud – from cloud orchestration and cloud-based workflows to innovative new cloud technology. Gone are the days when cloud-based workflows were just for the early adopters. These days, if you’re not leveraging the cloud, you’re falling behind because cloud along with hybrid cloud and on prem workflows offer flexibility, scalability, and a whole new level of collaboration. It’ll be interesting to see how media companies and broadcasters are using cloud orchestration to enhance their existing infrastructure.
IBC always delivers on the emerging technology front and this year, there’ll be huge focus on AI. It’ll also be interesting to hear how media companies are making use of AWS’ recent developments including generative AI. We can’t wait to hear more about how these cutting-edge technologies will soon be helping media companies do things they never thought possible.
The industry has changed massively over the last year or two and there’s a lot of interest and focus on managed services. No doubt we’ll see more managed service offerings at the show this year than ever before. Managed services might not sound exciting, but they’re playing an increasingly important role in today’s digital landscape.
We’re also expecting a lot of conversations around the importance of increased visibility, in terms of costs, workflows and resource management. Visibility is key in today’s fast-paced world, and if you don’t know what’s going on across your workflows, costs, and resources, it’s hard to stay ahead. We’ll be showcasing how Lens gives you that clear picture, letting you see exactly what’s happening and where you can improve.
